**** Wow, Super stoked this was chosen as a DD, and even more amazed by the response it has received. Its very flattering!!!! I wont make any comment to why etc she has chosen to pursue a life of piercing, it's very much each to their own :) so...I'm making this as an overall post for the shot as i would love to thank everyone for their favs and comments personally but its becoming a little hard :)...so THANK YOU!! ****

Saw this lady performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Since found out she is the most pierced woman in the world

heres a little bit about her I found scouring the net :)

"Elaine Davidson is the World's Most Pierced Woman, according to the Guinness World Records. When examined by a Guinness official in May 2000, Davidson had 462 piercings, with 192 in her face alone. Performing at the Edinburgh Festival in 2005, the Guardian reported that she now had 3,950 body piercings. She has more piercings in her genitalia than in any other part of the body - 500 in all, externally and internally. The total weight of her jewelry is estimated to be about 3 kilograms. As of May 2008, Davidson's piercings total 5,920. As of Feb. 2009 her piercings total 6,005." Info from...[link]

You really can't help wincing when looking at this with morbid fascination. Not only must it have been painful, but it must weigh a lot as well, which puts everything into perspective."

Since I've faved this, it's been keeping me up at night just wondering how she got those piercings inside her body. Very beautiful photo and person, I'd love to meet her. :)

I find it hard to understand why people aren't accepting her and her choices. She is a living, breathing art form and she is amazing!

wooooooow, that is so amazing
all that colors, all that pierciongs, it is one of the best shot i have ever seen, and i also like it because it is about culture, and it makes the photo even more interesting
